I first met 5 beautiful children on my trek through the hillsides of Giakaibei during my December 2009 Mission,  Donald, Linet, Gladys, Millicent and Moses. Their living conditions tore my heart out.  A tiny 10'x10' home...dirt floor, two twin wooden bed frames, no running water, no place to cook and no place to go to the bathroom.  At the ceremony to pass items out, the children received New School Uniforms, Shoes,Food and two mattresses to take back to their parents Peter and Rosemary whom I did not have a chance to meet.  Rosemary, I had heard was expecting her 6th child.

Upon my return home, I could not help but share my heartfelt stories with family and friends.  I knew I HAD to build this beautiful family a new home...one that could accomodate them all.  This idea became reality! 

During my July 2010 Mission, I finally met mom and dad and their new baby boy David as well as having a very sweet reunion with their first 5 children!  PJKO was blessed by the generosity of a family who sponsored the building of this new home.  I was able to surprise the family upon my arrival.  All of the plans and preparations had been set into motion weeks before my arrival...their village neighbors keeping a BIG secret!
